Our mission is to create positive, empowering field hockey experiences where every player feels confident, supported, and inspired to grow.
Bloom Field Hockey provides a development pathway for girls ages 3 through grade 5. From first learning how to hold a stick to developing advanced skills and game awareness, every practice is designed to meet players where they are and help them move forward.
Through age-appropriate instruction, teamwork, skill development, and encouragement, players build a strong athletic foundation while developing the confidence to challenge themselves and enjoy the game.

Meet Kelsey
Coaching the Player. Encouraging the Person.
Field hockey has been a meaningful part of Kelsey Martin’s life for more than two decades, shaping her journey as a player, coach, and leader.
Kelsey first picked up a stick as a sixth grader at Tatnall and later continued her playing career at Roanoke College. After graduating, she began coaching at both the high school and collegiate levels before returning to Tatnall as Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach.
Her experience includes coaching youth club programs, enrichment programs, summer camps, high school athletes, and collegiate players.
Through Bloom, Kelsey brings that experience to young athletes at the very beginning of their journeys. She is passionate about helping players develop strong skills, understand the game, build confidence, and discover a lasting love for field hockey.
